<\/a>Suzanne Pradel<\/strong> is a member of the European Film Academy (efa), the German Association of Script Consultancy (VeDRA) and the European Women’s Audiovisual Network (ewa).<\/p>\n
\nShe is the attached script consultant to the one-month “Female Scriptwriter’s Residency in Berlin of 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 of the European Women’s Audiovisual Network (ewa).
\nIn 2009<\/strong> she founded the BuchScout Agency<\/strong> <\/span>which specializes in novel-to-film adaptations as well as international\u00a0script consultancy, developing sophisticated European TV and cinematic features.\u00a0She works as well as an scriptwriter delivering project presentations and treatments in the pre-production phase.
\nSuzanne developed her pedagogical skills as a Tutor at Film School Hamburg-Berlin (2007-2008<\/strong>) whilst being Member of the Jury. She went on working as Lecturer for Script Development at the Film Acting School Berlin (2008-2011<\/strong>), and has since participated as lecturer in many panels and workshops.
\nIn parallel, she analyses submitted projects as a script expert for several European Film Funds (since 2008<\/strong>), ProSiebenSat1 and Degeto.
\nFrom 2003 to 2008<\/strong>, Suzanne applied her expertise as Script Advisor, Book Scout and Author working in the development department of ndF Berlin.
\nSince 1999<\/strong> Suzanne has worked as a freelance Reader, Script Advisor, and Book Scout for TV channels, Film Funds, Distributors and Production companies, such as: Road Movies, German Columbia Pictures, Boje Buck & Delphi, Sat1.
\nIn 1996, <\/strong>she was awarded with a Scholarship by the Film Board Berlin-Brandenburg as Dramaturgical Assistant at the \u201eStep by Step\u201c program of the Master School Drehbuch. From then on, she became Assistant Director for films, such as \u201eDrei Chinesen mit dem Kontrabass\u201c by Klaus Kr\u00e4mer, the historical ZDF mini-series \u201eSturmzeit\u201c by Bernd B\u00f6hlich, or the RTL series \u201ePuma\u201c.
\nIn 1993<\/strong> she started her career working in TV and Film as Assistant to the executive producer and Production Assistant for production companies such as UFA, ndF and TeamWorx.<\/p>\n
