It helps them to enter the industry with the best script (feature films only)\u00a0possible by working on the strategic positioning of their project.\u00a0Its purpose is to give\u00a0a selected woman scriptwriter or director the\u00a0opportunity to be mentored by a script consultant, to work with her before the Berlinale and to attend\u00a0the EFM\u00a0at the\u00a0Berlinale 2019 to make connections.<\/p>\n<p><em><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1068 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/buchscout.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/231117094053316.jpg-300x249.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"249\" \/>&#8220;Despite the fact that I am back in a\u00a0rollercoaster\u00a0of everyday duties with all the other projects and my kids, I keep a memory of the residency as an important and precious kick off which pushed me so much ahead. It also helped me build up my\u00a0self-confidence as a female author with a unique view on things.&#8221; <\/em><\/p>\n<p>filmmaker\u00a0<strong>Andrea Culkova\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Who is eligible?<br \/>\n1<\/strong> female\u00a0scriptwriter, screenwriter\/director or screenwriter\/producer\u00a0with a European nationality and resident in Europe (47 Council of Europe countries) having written or directed at least one feature film (fiction or \u00a0documentary) distributed (Theatrically\/TV\/wide festival trajectory) in one European country.\u00a0No screenwriter teams are accepted.<br \/>\n<strong>2<\/strong> who\u00a0is an EWA member. If you are not an EWA member\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ewawomen.com\/login\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">you can join us now<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>3<\/strong> who has a first draft of a script in English for a full length feature film. Fiction only.<br \/>\n<strong>4<\/strong> \u00a0the\u00a0principal photography of the film should be done in Europe<\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><strong>Elements to be provided:<br \/>\n<\/strong>1 CV in English<br \/>\n2 copy of valid ID<br \/>\n3 Draft script in English<br \/>\n4 Synopsis in English<br \/>\n5 Project status information<br \/>\n6 Motivation letter for the residency\u00a0in English.<br \/>\n7 Evidence of release of previous films<\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\">***Please send the requested material before\u00a0<strong>September 30<\/strong>***<\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\">A commitee of three industry experts will select the best project among those received.<\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><strong>The Offer<\/strong>:\u00a0travel costs from and to Berlin. accommodation in a private room + access to a kitchen\u00a0in Berlin starting from\u00a017 January 2019 \u2013 and ending\u00a017 February 2019, including four working sessions with a well-known script consultant (3 in Berlin + 1 Skype session after the Berlinale) and <strong>accreditation for the Berlinale<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\">The\u00a0<strong>EWA scriptwriting residency<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0<strong>script consultancy<\/strong>\u00a0must be mentioned in the credits of the later film.<\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-1353 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/buchscout.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/2016-09-15-um-13-49-48-258x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"201\" height=\"234\" \/>Suzanne Pradel<\/strong>\u00a0is the script consultant\u00a0attached to the programme.<\/p>\n<p>Suzanne is an international script consultant, lecturer and bookscout. For many years, she has been working as a script expert for Eurimages and MEDIA Programme.
